Overview


Building on the skills addressed in earlier modules and reflecting their continued progression in public accounting, Level 3 audit skills training introduces the experienced staff accountant to the accounting and auditing guidance related to complex topics such as auditing revenue recognition, leases under ASC 842, and complex investments. The training also prepares the experienced staff accountant for the increased levels of responsibilities they will begin to face on their engagement teams, with modules focusing on effective review of workpapers and communication best practices and techniques.

This curriculum is designed to provide critical and professional skills to experienced staff to support their continued career progression. In this two-day course, each module includes a lecture followed by in-class group case studies and activities.
